Mr. Leevey died May 5, 2007, at his residence.
He was born Sept. 5, 1935, in DeWitt County, Ill., to the late Clyde Walter and Ura Eba Duff Leevey. He lived in Alba since 1975, was an equipment operator for fertilizer distribution, and was preceded in death by three brothers and four sisters.
Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Mary Ann Rayborn Leevey, Alba; sons, Roy Dean Leevey and Ronald Dale Leevey, both of Alba, and Robert Douglas Leevey, Quitman; daughters, Annabell Nance, Emory, and Amy Curry, Quitman; brothers, James Leevey, Red Springs, and Kenneth Leevey, Decatur, Ill.; sisters, Clara Taylor and Norma Vinson, both of Clinton, Ill., Laura Burton, Center, and Annabell Marks, Lincoln, Ill.; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers are Jimmy Curry, Jimmy Nance, Mark Hockman, Christopher McKinley, Marshall Noland and Stacy Deuson.
Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
